The 2007 Fairfax County Truck Company Operations School kicked off on April 23rd with 21 Fairfax County Suppression Lieutenants, 3 Loudoun County Lieutenants and 1 Firefighter from Fort Belvior Fire Department.  One week prior, Prince William County Department of Fire & Rescue lost Kyle Wilson during a house fire.  One the first day of school, everyone agreed to dedicate this school to Kyle.  During the school, the firefighters were subjected to various forms of ventilation, firefighter survival techniques, elevator rescue and control, rigging and stokes operations, forcible entry and more.  After one week, everyone seemed to have a bigger appreciation for truck work, tool management and teamwork.

This video illustrates a small percentage of work completed.
